In January 2001 the West Tracery Window of St Ninians Cathedral in Perth was extensively damaged during unusually high winds.

At this point Peter was a company director and carving stonemason for Milestone Restoration Limited.

Milestone Restoration Ltd undertook the main contract to safely dismantle the damaged stonework - carve new replacement stone - and reinstate the tracery window.

As main contractor, Milestone worked alongside other sub-contractors, such as the stained glass specialists to remove and restore the window to its former glory. In this capacity, Peter hand carved the new tracery window out of Darley Dale stone and was heavily involved in the reconstruction of the West Window.
